the rest of the story”

With how today’s media distorts news about law enforcement, we are driven to tell:

“…the rest of the story” because:

Truth Matters!

Subject: Important *TIP* re: Task Force HSSA Financial Officer Christian Gonzales

Hello Task Force Authorities,

Animal Cruelty Task Force of So AZ has Humane Society Southern Arizona as primary contact, Christian Gonzales listed as financial officer, and HSSA Michelle Kleckner as admin.  Gonzales and Kleckner are both responsible for the publicized HSSA shipping 318 small animals intended for adoption for reptile food processing.  Gonzales resigned a year ago but Kleckner is still on HSSA staff.  See attached NYTimes and Washington Post articles.

There is an open animal cruelty case with TPD on this matter.

Recently HSSA was connected to another animal abuse scandal, Douglas Shelter cat dumping where  "HSSA Cochise County Coordinator", an associate of Michelle Kleckner,  was involved according to Cochise County Sheriff's report. See attached AZ Daily Star article.

According to credible sources and delayed release financial statements, HSSA is deeply in debt with continued mismanagement and high turnover of staff and volunteers.  As Christian Gonzales resigned a year ago and HSSA is unlikely to fulfill any constructive function on the Task Force, I thought you'd wish to know this and revise the roster to active members with a new financial director.

With great appreciation for your efforts!  Candace Charvoz Frank

We need your help!

After working with the FBI on a situation, they nominated me for their

Citizens Academy. Upon completing the academy we started the Law

Matters weekly one-hour live radio show on AM1030 the Voice KVOI

radio, to open the lines of communication between law enforcement

and the communities. In doing so we are giving the listeners the

opportunity to get answers from the source and law enforcement a full

voice rather than a misleading soundbite. We bring all the different law

enforcement agencies on from TPD to the Secret Service. During our

one, 2-minute break, we air PSAs for law enforcement, or

announcements of the educational events we host. Our podcasts

featured on ITunes, Google Play, KVOI.com and the LawMatters1030.org

websites are listened to nationally by many. Our on-air number is

520.790.2040 every Sat. from 8 to 9am.

We started this show in 2016 with no seed money, no business plan, no

guidance, no political agenda, and no radio experience; just a wild idea

to stop the inexcusable violence toward law enforcement as well as

rising violence in general. Since that time, we have evolved into hosting

events providing awareness on topics such as sex and human

trafficking, domestic violence, active shooter, illegal drugs, scams,

border issues, gun violence, sextortion, modern day slavery and the list

goes on. We have helped countless people.

While we don’t have brick and mortar we do have expenses. Yearly

airtime alone is over 15K, in addition to the other costs of running a

nonprofit business, our annual cost to about 25K. Our donation requests

are to help support our radio show, while we support the voice of law

enforcement. Law Matters is operated by volunteers as well as interns,

and we are authorized to offer our helpers the Presidential Volunteer

Service Award. For more information or to request a presentation please

give me a call. I hope you will consider becoming an annual sponsor

who we can talk about on air and list on our website.

Respectfully,

We encourage everyone to watch this documentary.
