Sherry, a Chicago native, has lived in Tucson for over 20 years working as a paralegal, and ultimately a mortgage loan officer.
Several years ago, she was nominated for and attended the FBI Citizens Academy. Shortly after that academy ended, law officers were being shot all across the country, simply because of their uniform. Sherry went back to the FBI and Tucson Police to ask if they thought a live radio show would help relieve the tension. A live call in show would give citizens the opportunity to speak their mind with people they would otherwise not have access. It has been a well-received approach to creating a productive open dialogue and we hope to continue.
Every Saturday 8am, Sherry hosts ‘Law Matters’ on AM1030 the Voice radio and streams live on KVOI.com. Unless the studio is physically closed, this is always a live show.
